The Greensboro NAACP Branch is a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change. We are dedicated to improving the political, educational, social, and economic status of minority groups; eliminating racial prejudice; keeping the public aware of adverse effects of racial discrimination; and taking lawful action to secure the elimination of racial discrimination.

We are currently pushing to keep an appointment of an individual from the school board from happening. This individual has made racist and homophobic comments and will be terrible to allow on the school board.

We believe in a future where all Americans can access quality education, where economic justice prevails, and where Black arts and joy are celebrated as part of our nation’s rich cultural tapestry.
